53 Ps George Salloum The Anointing

Leading up to the beginning of his message on the anointing, George gave an unplanned yet inspired message about depression and Christianity. George discusses the process of the anointing in our lives. How much do we give ourselves to allowing God to do His perfect work in us? Are we able to trust God while going through emotionally painful times?

52 Shane Willard The Cross is the End of Hostility

Peacemaking is not passive. We can choose to be a person that brings peace, rather than slicing people’s ears off. Shane shows us the background to the story of Paul’s actions prior to Jesus’ arrest. He also highlights and explains other actions taken in those days and their relevance to today. What if the cross was God saying, ‘How far do I have to go to get you all to get along?’

51 Ps George Salloum Gladness & Simplicity of Heart

There is nothing passive about Jesus’ love for us. It runs very deeply. Where is our awareness when it comes to this love and the most important relationship we will ever have? Have we allowed Jesus to change our lives so much that we live out of Him rather than our past? George touches on areas of our life that include depression and anxiety.

We want to feel equal to other ‘popular’ people. Placing focus on what we don’t have is destructive to us. Our community looks to members of the church. They are looking at our character before they listen to our words.
